About Me

Dr Philippa J. Mesiano is a historian and community engagement professional providing heritage engagement services and support to museums, heritage sites, churches and cathedrals in the South-East.

She has experience working on projects with a range of organisations including Canterbury Cathedral, The National Archives, St Mary’s Church, Beddington & Murston Old Church.

She currently works part-time as Community Engagement Manager at Brook Rural Museum, near Ashford in Kent.

She has published articles and public engagement blogs covering a wide range of topics including the Medieval Papacy, Historic Graffiti and the Royal Female Orphanage (1758-1968).
